It may not always be possible or preferable to purchase a solution outright, it is deemed capital expenditure which inevitably needs approval. Therefore, why not consider a monthly “rental” expenditure to acquire the solution your organisation needs?
SaaS (Software as a Service)
Microsoft Dynamics CRM can be deployed as a service, whereby the solution is hosted at a secure data centre and you pay a monthly per user fee to rent the service.
Effectively you own the data and rent the solution as a service.
Client hosted
The more conventional option is obviously available, purchase the solution and host it on your own servers and by paying an annual software assurance fee you are eligible for new product releases for free.
